In 2002 he relocated to London and worked as a motion designer and art director for studios such as Passion Pictures, Nexus, Intro and Mtv. In 2005 he was invited by Mtv International to direct the Europe Music Awards campaign in Lisbon. The project followed another 2 years of work in-house at Mtv, developing and directing ideas for promos and titles for shows. As a freelance director, Cassiano achieved international recognition with a fully animated global commercial for Sony Ericsson, commissioned by Saatchii Frankfurt in 2007. His first music video for band Electrelane won the audience award at Reanimacja Animation Festival in Lodz, Poland. In 2008 he was short listed by 4Talent Awards, part of Channel 4, as one of the 5 upcoming animation talents in the UK.
