Ryan Mclennan - 16 Feb 10-

These paintings of specific animals by Ryan Mclennan are really quite something. The surreal, abstract look to these images are really unique. The images are so intricate and the way they are interacting with the rest of the scene is really nice. Ryan has some really nice ideas and a great imagination which he is able to visually show throughout these great paintings.

Rafafans - 03 Feb 10-

Sometimes we just don’t know the full names of the people we feature but none the less Rafafans is a brilliant designer with a fresh unique style. Rafafans work is  a breath of fresh air as well as having a much deeper meaning from the aesthetic you see. Rafafans style is some how transferred into his photographic work which is incredibly raw giving a sense of nostalgia with the colours and tones. Some really lovely, ‘break the mould’ work by Rafafans.

Michael Swaney - 28 Jan 10-

Michael Swaney has some really interesting work which ranges from sculpture to line drawings. His work is intricate and very weird but that just makes the work far more interesting to view. You can really get lost in Michael Swaney’s work.

Bruce Wilhelm - 10 Dec 09-

bruceSome lovely fine art stuff on this website. We aren’t experts on fine art but these pieces of work look pretty good…. Horses with messed up bodies and multiple heads is always a good thing, there is also a lot of other well produced work by Bruce Wilhelm as well as a few exhibitions which have happened this year.

Kelly Allen - 25 Nov 09-

kelly“I have been a maker of objects and images for as long as I can remember. Obsessive creation keeps me going. Having recently completed my MFA in Drawing at Kendall College of Art and Design, my current focus has been on gouache and graphite drawings on paper. I find utmost joy in experimenting in all things, whether I am combining images in a drawing, making creatures out of sculpey clay, giving a buzz cut to my cats, or cooking enormous pots of soup”

Tyson Anthony Roberts - 13 Nov 09-

tysonThis artwork by Tyson Anthony Roberts is so pleasant to look at with its angled lines producing landscapes and urban scenes. He has a unique take on landscape painting which is incredibly beautiful and it’s quite amazing how he manages to produce pieces of art that manage to still send out a clear message of what is being seen by the viewer, even though when it comes down to it, we are looking at coloured lines. Some really brilliant work by Tyson Roberts.
