Brick is a project based around creativity and culture, to inspire people to create a finer, more colourful life. An insight into a eclectic range of creatives and inspiring individuals, who produce little pieces of art, photography, journalism or anything that influences and helps the world around them.

Brick was first created in July 2009 as a project to show the work of creative individuals in a number of creative disciplines. Since then Brick has got a new look and semi new approach, we started out featuring creatives every day but we have now become more select on the people we show and focus more on those who have an opinion in their work or those who are a bit different. We don’t care if you fit into a particular trend or whats “cool” at the moment, we want to see individuality and something unique as that is what being a creative is all about.

Also, moving on from our original goal, we have decided to add a ‘change’ part to the website, as we feel that design can be used to help make the world a better place rather than selling the newest trainers or television. Design to us is about expressing an opinion and making the world a more colourful, happier place. For those reasons we’ve included this change part, which will show not just design, but anything we think is relevant and inspiring.
